A Personal Note from Stephan "Coach" Hicks
Dear Supporters, Partners, and Friends of MBK,
Over the past thirteen years we have worked hard to improve the state of fatherhood in our community and our effectiveness in reaching the fathers that need us most. We are encouraged by the impact MBK has had, but there is still much to be done.
Moving forward, our mission remains the same, but our approach has grown significantly. At the forefront of these changes is an increased reach for fathers in our community. We launched our “Father2Father Initiative in January 2021. MBK has always been committed to providing educational and equipping tools to fathers. In 2022, we look forward to releasing added resources and updating the ones that are tried and true.
Absent and ill-equipped fathers form one of the greatest challenges facing America today, leaving 24,000,000 children in bed without their biological father in the home. It is because of this need that our team has worked tirelessly throughout 2019 to make sure that MBK can continue to be effective, working to train fathers and improve the lives of children and their families.
I am writing to ask for your generous support in preparation for the coming year. We expect 2023 to be MBK’s greatest and most effective year in both our reach, message, and impact. MBK would appreciate your continued support. Your gift at this time will ensure that father’s hearts are touched, bringing about powerful transformation in their lives and the lives of their children.
